Introduction to Canoeing & Kayaking
More than just a taster session, this will give you the knowledge of how to get started. You will learn all about the many aspects of canoeing styles, where, when and how, with an opportunity to try out different craft and equipment to suit you with unbiased opinion.
Introduction to Navigation
Getting to grips with the basic skills to enable you to read, orientate and understand features on a map. Also learning how to use a compass in conjunction with a map and start navigating confidently
Improving your Navigation
For those who want to improve on the basics and learn more about micro & night navigation and eliminating those frustrating mistakes.
Mountain Walking Skills
Covering all aspects of preparing yourself for going into the mountains. Where to go, what to wear, navigation, safety measures, emergency situations, what equipment, with tips and knowledge to help you feel confident venturing into the mountains.
Introduction to Mountain Biking
We will give you the knowledge of how to be prepared to venture off into the wild under your own guidance. Where to go, what to wear, navigation, safety measures, emergency repairs and what equipment to take. With tips and knowledge to help you feel confident venturing into open country.
Climbing for starting
This is for those interested in getting started in the growing sport of climbing. Giving you the skills to attend your local climbing wall and climb safely and competently with family and friends. Then looking at how to get out on the crags doing it for real.
Need to know
We will supply good quality equipment as you would expect. When you book we will send you a detailed information sheet that explains what you need to bring for each particular training courses.
We can supply you with a healthy packed lunch for your activity day from £5 per person. Just let us know when booking!
Our prices are for groups of four or more, although we do quote for individuals or smaller groups on request.
